Barcelona veteran striker Robert Lewandowski spoke with Le Parisien on several topics, and some of his remarks were, of course, about Paris Saint-Germain, considering it’s a French media outlet.

One of the topics that the former Bayern Munich sensation touched on was Kylian Mbappé and the position that best suits the 25-year-old. With the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner set to depart in a few weeks, the discussion over where he’ll play is a topic of discussion.

Even though Lewandowski didn’t mention Real Madrid, he did give them a recommendation as to where Mbappé should play so that they could get the most out of him.

“Kylian is awesome,” Lewandowski told the news outlet (h/t Le10Sport). “Maybe not as a center forward, but more as a winger because he is fast, his speed is impressive, and it becomes difficult to catch him for so many opponents. He is impressive when he runs on a field, it is as if his feet do not touch the ground and this means that he is always one step ahead of the opponent.”

Furthermore, Lewandowski believes that the Ligue 1 side are prepared to live without the Frenchman should he leave for the Spanish capital. With the arrival of Bradley Barcola and the looming return of Xavi Simons, the Parisians have a lot of young talent who have the potential to help the squad replace the production that will be left behind.
